Terms & Conditions

The rules that apply when you visit, shop, or create an account on sonashi.ae, written in plain English so they are actually readable.

These terms describe how we run the SONASHI online store and what we both agree to when you use it. They are written to be fair to every shopper and to protect our team and partners at the same time. Please take a few minutes to read through them.

Who you are dealing with

The SONASHI online store at sonashi.ae is owned and operated by Joint Ven Trading Co. LLC, a trading company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. When you see the words we, us, our, or SONASHI on this page, we are talking about the same company.

These terms govern your use of our website, your relationship with our brand, and any order you place through the site. By browsing the store, creating an account, or completing a purchase, you are telling us that you have read these terms and you agree to follow them.

Who can use the store

You need to be at least eighteen years old to place an order with us. If you are younger than that, please only use the site with a parent or guardian who is able to approve the purchase on your behalf. By checking out, you confirm that you have the legal right to enter into this agreement and that the payment details you use belong to you or are used with permission from the card holder.

Your customer account

You can place an order as a guest or sign up for a full SONASHI account. An account makes life easier by saving your delivery addresses, keeping your order history in one place, and letting you track warranty claims without having to dig through old emails.

When you create an account, please use information that is accurate and up to date. Keep your password private, do not share your login with anyone, and let us know straight away if you notice activity on your account that was not you. Everything that happens under your login is treated as something you authorised, so it is worth taking a minute to set a password you do not use anywhere else.

Using the website the right way

We built this store for people who want to browse our products, place orders, read articles, and reach out to our team. There are a few things we ask you not to do, because they either break the law or make the site slower for everyone else:

  • Do not try to break, bypass, or disable any security feature on the site.
  • Do not run automated bots, crawlers, or scripts that hit the site faster than a normal shopper would.
  • Do not copy, scrape, or republish product photos, descriptions, videos, or other content without permission.
  • Do not upload or send content that is abusive, hateful, threatening, or illegal.
  • Do not use the store to commit fraud, launder money, or hide where you are shopping from.

If we see any of this happening, we may suspend your account, cancel pending orders, and report the activity to the authorities where we think it is the right thing to do.

Product information and pricing

We do our best to show every product fairly and honestly, with clear photos, specifications, and an up to date price. Even so, human beings write these pages, and sometimes a typo or an outdated spec slips through. If you notice something that looks off, please tell us and we will fix it.

All prices on the store are shown in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED) and include the applicable value added tax unless the product page says otherwise. We reserve the right to change prices at any time, to correct obvious pricing errors, and to withdraw products that are no longer available. If you have already paid for an order and a genuine pricing mistake is caught before we dispatch it, we will contact you with the corrected price and give you the choice to continue or cancel for a full refund.

Pre order and launch day products follow the same rules. If the final retail price changes before your pre order ships, we will let you know by email and you can keep the order or cancel it with no penalty.

Placing and accepting an order

When you click the place order button, you are making us an offer to buy the items in your cart at the prices shown on the page. Your order is not automatically accepted at that moment. It becomes a binding sale only once we send you a confirmation email that says the order has been accepted and is being prepared.

From time to time we may need to decline an order. The most common reasons are that an item has gone out of stock, that your payment cannot be verified, that the delivery address is outside the area we serve, or that something about the order does not sit right with our fraud checks. If we cancel your order for any of these reasons, any money that was already charged is returned to the original payment method in full.

Most orders for items that are in stock begin processing within twenty four to forty eight hours after payment is confirmed. Orders placed during weekends, public holidays, or large promotional events may take a little longer to leave the warehouse.

Payments

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and the digital wallet and buy now pay later options that are shown on the checkout page at the time of your order. All online card payments are processed by trusted payment partners over a secure connection, so we never store your full card number on our own servers.

If a payment fails, it is usually a small issue that you can fix by checking the card details, calling your bank, or trying a different payment method. Please do not retry the same payment more than a couple of times in a row, since that can trigger a temporary block with your bank.

Shipping and delivery

Delivery times, shipping fees, and any free shipping thresholds are shown during checkout based on your address. Once your order leaves our warehouse, you receive a tracking link by email so you can follow the parcel up to your door.

When the courier arrives, please take a moment to check that the box is in the expected condition and that it is the item you ordered. If anything looks wrong, the easiest time to act is right there while the driver is still at the door. You can also reach out to us afterwards using the contact details at the bottom of this page.

Returns, refunds, and warranty

Our refund rules and warranty cover are set out on their own pages so they are easy to find and read. Please take a look at the refund policy if you want to send an item back, and at the warranty policy if you are dealing with a product fault after the return window has closed. Those pages form part of these terms, so anything described there applies to your order in the same way.

Intellectual property

The SONASHI name, the logo, product designs, product photography, marketing videos, written content, code, graphics, and overall look of the store belong to Joint Ven Trading Co. LLC or to our licensors. You are welcome to view and share product pages for personal shopping purposes, and you may link to our site from your own blog or social profile as long as the link is not misleading or damaging to the brand.

You may not copy our content, remix it into your own product listings, upload our images to marketplaces, or build a competing store using materials taken from sonashi.ae. If you are a journalist, retailer, or creator who wants to use our assets for a specific project, please get in touch and we will be glad to talk.

Limitation of liability

We work hard to make sure every product we sell is safe, high quality, and fit for everyday use at home. That said, there are limits to the responsibility we can carry for indirect or unexpected events.

As far as the law allows, SONASHI and Joint Ven Trading Co. LLC are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, or any other indirect or consequential damage that flows from the use of the store or any of our products. Our total liability for any single order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in this section is meant to exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded under UAE consumer protection law.

Suspending or closing an account

We may pause or close a customer account if we see behaviour that breaks these terms, if we are required to do so by a court or regulator, if we suspect fraud, or if an account is used to buy large quantities of heavily discounted items in a way that is clearly against the spirit of a promotion.

You can also close your account at any time by emailing our team. We will confirm the request, process any pending refunds, and then remove your profile in line with the privacy policy.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, together with the local laws of the Emirate of Dubai where they apply. Any dispute that we cannot settle between us through a friendly conversation will be handled by the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Changes to these terms

The way we sell, ship, and support our products evolves over time, and the rules in this document may need to change along with it. When we update the terms, the new version is posted on this page with a fresh update date at the top. Carrying on with your shopping after a change has been published is treated as acceptance of the updated terms, so it is worth glancing at this page from time to time.
